Description
7” Vinyl record depicting a crossed out swastika with a cloth armband parodying those worn by the SS during the Second World War to be worn as a critical satirical symbol to display anti-fascism and anti-racism. The record was intentionally sold in a clear plastic sleeve to add shock value to an already profane and shocking single.
The Dead Kennedys were an integral band in the emergence of suburban punk culture in San Francisco and California more widely. After misinterpreting satirical songs such as ‘Kill the Poor’, white neo Nazis began to attend the Dead Kennedys’ concerts and this song was written in order to clear up any misconception about the band being pro-nazi.
