Description

This photograph is an image of a group of Japanese-American men, based in Kauai, who were receiving a physical examination test as they wanted to their part in the Second World War. Despite the fact that many of the young men in the photograph were still in high school, we can see the sense of family duty between them, as one man (Tooru Takenaka) volunteered to go because he wanted to do his part alongside his brother.
